Mended Arrows Thairapy Cuts is a mentoring program that uses the natural influence and platform of a barber to create safe spaces for at risk youth and young adults to address mental health in a non-judgmental, supportive environment where they can work out their issues. It allows them to explore their feelings and experiences without fear of rejection or criticism, and provides a confidential and secure place where they can talk and express their thoughts and beliefs without fear of judgment or criticism. It is a place where they can gain insight and develop skills to help them to take more control of their lives.

The Barberpreneur program is a 8 week course that provides participants the opportunity to explore opportunities within the barbering industry while gaining guidance and support from healing-centered instructors. The course is founded on three pillars which include: Personal Development, Entrepreneurship, and Basic Barbering skills. Upon program completion participants will receive a certification and a opportunity to enroll in Barber School to recieve hours and licensure. Participants will receive hands on training in barbering, exposed to entrepreneurship principles by successful business men and women within the barbering industry, and challenged to develop personally through guided curriculum and life lessons.

Mended Arrows provide a safe and trusted space for the students at Renaissance School who have been suspended from their home school, as well as providing access to therapeutic opportunities through positive social interaction. Mended Arrows continues to offer guidance and mentorship, a sense of community, and skill-building experiences. We also offer haircuts, which have helped to boost the confidence and self-esteem of the students. Furthermore, we offer advice and help to introduce the student to potential career paths in the barbering industry.

Teaching at risk youth and young adults to be barbers and business men is important because it gives them the tools they need to become successful entrepreneurs and provide for their families.
It allows them to have control of their own lives, which gives them a sense of pride and empowerment. It also helps them gain an understanding of the importance of financial literacy and business management, so they can become effective entrepreneurs.
Furthermore, it teaches them the value of hard work, giving them the opportunity to create sustainable livelihoods and set a positive example within their communities.
The barber is the modern day equivalent of a therapist, offering men a place to talk about and work through their issues
